Amideon Systems design and market test equipment for the telecommunication, aerospace and electronics industry. The company specializes in RF & Microwave test equipment, focusing on project realization for customers in Asia and Eastern Europe.

Details:
Amideon Systems Ltd, RF & Microwave division has an exciting opportunity for a recent engineering/physics graduate or postgraduate to gain international experience in the high growth RF & Microwave domain. The successful applicant will join our Shenzhen (China) RF & Microwave team to work on all phases of customer project life cycles, developing RF & Microwave test facilities as well as working on new product design. As part of an international team the successful candidate will initially be based in China for a minimum period of one year, and will then have the opportunity to work as a development engineer based out of Ireland or as an applications engineer traveling to various customer sites throughout Asia and Europe.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
l Meet customers & help specify solutions for customer projects.
l RF & Microwave System integration.
l RF & Microwave product/system design.
l Carry out installations throughout China.

Mandatory
l Minimum third-level qualification in Electronic engineering/ Physics or equivalent, ideally with experience/postgraduate degree in RF and microwave engineering.
l Proficient in C/C++ Programming
l Good understanding and working of RF/Microwave test equipment and accessories
l Excellent communication skills
l Ability to work well in team environment
l Strongly self-motivated with good planning and organizational skills.

Desirable
l Experience in simulation software of RF/Microwave and communication systems, e.g. Agilent ADS, Microwave Office, MATLAB, etc.
l HP VEE / LABVIEW experience.
