History:
The
history of Amideon Systems goes back to 1981, when Intepro Limited
was formed by the Directors and Management of Amideon to design
and manufacture power electronic test equipment for telecom, industrial
aerospace industries. In 1991, with an annual turnover of over
$10 million, Intepro was sold to Schaffner EMV AG.
Foreseeing
greater opportunities in new product markets and applications
the directors entered new business areas. Utilising both experience
and market foresight they exploited a number of market opportunities
and made over 20 investments in technology companies, generally
as a minority investor.
Amideon
was incorporated in 2001, is 100% owned by the Directors and since
its inception has grown at an impressive rate with orders of $6
Million in its first years. Since then the company has been profitable
in each of its financial years, while continuing ongoing investment
in new product development and market expansion. Today, as a result,
Amideon is a truly international company employing people worldwide.
